Catholic Women’s League – Johannesburg Diocese
Faith in action.
Love in service.
We are a fellowship of Catholic women, united in service to God, the Church, families and communities. Together, we turn compassion into meaningful action.
Rooted in faith. Strengthened by community.
Our story since 1932
From one meeting, a lasting work of service.
On 26 April 1932, 130 women from eleven parishes gathered at End Street Convent in response to Bishop David O’Leary’s appeal. Their shared commitment to charity, work and loyalty shaped generations of service across Johannesburg.
